How We're Run
Love Lane Pre-School is a registered charity, run by a committee of parent volunteers rather than a private company. This means every decision — from staffing to spending — is made by people with a direct, personal stake in the setting: parents like you.
Our Committee
Each year, at our Annual General Meeting (AGM), parents and carers are invited to stand for election to the committee. Committee members act as trustees, responsible for:
Employing and supporting our staff team
Managing the pre-school's finances and charitable status
Overseeing policies, safeguarding, and compliance with Ofsted requirements
Making key decisions about the future of the setting
You don't need any special experience to join — just an interest in your child's early years and a bit of time to give. It's a genuinely rewarding way to be involved beyond drop-off and pickup, and many parents find it a great way to build skills and meet other families.

Our Staff Team
The committee employs our Manager and qualified staff, who are responsible for the day-to-day running of the pre-school and the care of every child. You can read more about our team here. About Us
Accountability & Compliance
We're inspected regularly by Ofsted, and affiliated with the Pre-School Learning Alliance. As an equal opportunities employer, every member of staff — including bank staff — holds an up-to-date DBS check and is trained in our safeguarding policies.
