Supporting Love Lane
As a small, registered charity, Love Lane Pre-School relies on more than just parent fees to keep running. Every year, our community's support — through time, fundraising, or a small regular contribution — helps us maintain our facilities, resources, and the quality of care we're proud to offer. Here are a few ways you can help.
Join the Committee
Love Lane is run entirely by a committee of parent volunteers — no special experience needed, just a bit of time and an interest in your child's early years. Committee members help shape everything from budgets to events, and it's a genuinely good way to build skills, meet other parents, and stay closely connected to your child's pre-school life.
New trustees are elected each year at our AGM in October, though we're always happy to hear from anyone interested before then.

A fun, low-effort way to support us all year round. For just £1 a week, you're in with a chance to win up to £25,000 — and 50p of every ticket goes directly to Love Lane, with a further 10p supporting other good local causes.

Fundraising Events
Throughout the year, our committee and families organise fundraising events — from coffee mornings and tombolas to seasonal fairs — that help fund extra resources, outings and improvements for the children.
